Build your own evidence from a match, instead of letting one highlight stand for the whole game.
Start with a team and a question: are their exits improving, or do support runners arrive sooner? Record a positive example and a counterexample. Keep what you saw separate from what you think it means. These are your observations, not official statistics.

Turn notes into a fair comparison
Two successful exits do not prove every exit worked. Record the passages you sampled and avoid turning them into a match-wide percentage. A highlight compilation may omit unsuccessful possessions entirely. When information is missing, write “not shown” rather than filling the gap.
Compare the same question across matches. Changes in opponent, score and field position can explain a different outcome. Your notes should help identify the next sequence to examine, rather than manufacture a verdict.
